We know it’s probably better this way, but…WE’RE STILL HEARTBROKEN!!
Aspiring filmmaker Dawson Leery, or in real life simply James Van Der Beek, has publicly shot down speculation that there could be reunion show for the hit WB drama Dawson’s Creek, which also starred Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, and Katie Holmes.
“Probably not. We did the reunion show at the end of the run. We flashed forward five years, and did that. I think those characters are too media-savvy to do it again.”
True! But we LOVES us some Dawson!!
The actor, who now is on the hospital drama Mercy with Georgina Sparks, is still tight with some of old pals at the creek!
“I talk to Michelle quite regularly, I talk to actually a number of those guys. One thing I was able to learn after being lucky enough to experience the success that I did at 20 years old is I eventually learned pretty quickly that if it’s all about you, you’re always going to be a little disappointed. It’s a lot more fun and a lot more fulfilling to be a part of something bigger than yourself.”
We think Dawson should shoot Joey a text! We bet Tommy doesn’t let her talk to anyone but Suri and that kid probably only speaks alien language!!!
