Wowsa!
Valerie Bertinelli completed the Boston Marathon yesterday in 5:14:37 just a few days before her 50th birthday!
Valerie said after the race:
“I am so high right now, more high than if I’d had a bottle of champagne! I feel euphoric! When I turned the corner and saw the finish line, I turned the music off and just enjoyed the crowd.
“I am blissful! It’s like each day gets better in my life. I gotta ask, ‘What have I done to deserve so much grace and so many gifts?! I feel surprisingly well, mentally and physically. I wonder if it’s anything like childbirth where you forget how painful it was. I think I had a pretty amazing time!”
Good for you, sweetie! What an achievement!
