Seems like Yankee Alex Rodriguez was plagued by injuries at the end of last season, so we’re glad he’s getting treatment for those — all the way in Germany!
It’s true, the baseballer A-Rod is receiving Orthokine therapy on his right knee and left shoulder, and is kinda crazy when you hear what’s involved.
It takes your own blood, separates out a protein, and then injects it back into the injured area. It has been approved by the MLB and IS performed here in the states, but A-Rod went to Germany because the doctor there is in the top of his field.
Apparently he’s 100% now, and there are no red flags for spring training.
That’s good news!
