Aaron Carter's Tattoo Artist 'Had To Stop Him' From Inking His Entire Face!

More details on Aaron Carter's face tattoo.

Aaron Carter‘s tattoo artist is filling in the blanks about how the star’s face became covered in ink.

Fans were understandably shocked when the I Want Candy singer debuted a giant Medusa-inspired tat on Instagram late last month amid reports of his disturbing behavior.

As it turns out, the embattled star’s tattooist spoke to TMZ on Thursday, revealing Carter wanted even more artwork than what he ended up with!

Herchell L. Carrasco — known as @RockRollG on IG — told the outlet Aaron hadn’t mentioned he was yearning for a face tattoo when he arrived at the star’s home in El Lay on Friday, September 27.

Carrasco explained the pair initially scheduled a session to update Carter’s torso designs. Things reportedly got out of hand once the singer began insisting upon the face tattoo, which was actually motivated by Rihanna’s Medusa-inspired cover shoot for GQ from 2013.

We’re 99.9 percent sure Rih didn’t approve of this, but continue…

After some debate about placement, the two decided to just focus on the left side of the entertainer’s face. Herchell, who also worked on Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s forehead shortly before the rapper was arrested, said AC was adamant about his decision and almost wouldn’t take no for an answer:

“Before I tattoo anyone, I take into consideration their mental state… in Aaron’s case, I assessed the situation and I genuinely felt he was in a good place mentally to get tattooed.”

Once the Greek mythological design was complete, Aaron still wasn’t satisfied! He later convinced the artist to add “Love” underneath his eye, telling Carrasco the phrase is part of his brand right now.

Afterwards, Carter asked for yet another piece — this time, a crescent moon — and that’s where the celebrity tattooer ultimately had to draw the line. Speaking of his decision to cut his client off, he told TMZ:

“[He] wanted to keep going and I had to stop him. I couldn’t cover his whole face in a tattoo. I just couldn’t.”

When it was all said and done, AC’s session cost him a whopping $5,000 — which was $2K more than what they duo agreed upon to start.

Sigh. As long as it makes him happy!

For the record, Nick Carter‘s brother loves his new pieces and wasted no time showing ’em off on social media, as we mentioned at the top.

We just hope he continues to focus on his mental health as much as he’s been focusing on his physical appearance.

Back in September, the Aaron’s Party crooner revealed he was officially diagnosed with at least four different conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, manic depression, and anxiety, on an episode of The Doctors.

In the time since the announcement, the former child star’s brother Nick and sister Angel Carter have both been granted restraining orders against him.
