The Alec Baldwin airplane saga continues!
To recap…..yesterday, we learned that Alec was kicked off of an American Airlines flight for playing Words with Friends on the plane after being asked to turn off his cell phone.
Then, in honor of Alec’s WWF fiasco, tech company Zynga (who created Words with Friends), posted a clever message to Mr. Baldwin, which creatively says “Let Alec Play!” Ha!
THEN, Alec tweeted about the incident, and American Airlines released a statement telling their side of the story. The flight attendants then followed suit and burned Alec as well.
Now, Alec has opened up further about the incident via blog entry, and he’s finally decided to apologize…to the other passengers on the plane!:
“It was never my intention to inconvenience anyone with my ‘issue’ with a certain flight attendant.”
And here’s more from Alec slamming the airline industry in general:
“September 11th was a horrific day in the airline industry, yet in the wake of that event, I believe carriers and airports have used that as an excuse to make the air travel experience as inelegant as possible.”
Sounds to us like Alec and American Airlines need to resolve this issue before it goes any further! PERHAPS a game of Words With Friends! Winner leaves the other one alone! LOLz!
Who R U siding with at this point? Team AA or Team Alec???
