In case you guys didn’t know, Alec Baldwin made headlines in 2007 when a leaked voicemail to his then 11-year-old daughter — Ireland Baldwin — went viral.
When Kim Basinger‘s child missed a scheduled call to her father, the former 30 Rock star unleashed a VOLCANIC tirade, calling the little girl a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

Needless to say, the media was shocked that the actor could threaten his kid in such a manner!
Fast forward to Sunday, the two have not only made up, they’re willing to make fun of such an unfortunate situation!
The 19-year-old model posted the (above) pic with her Dad reading a children’s book appropriately titled If I Were A Pig… with the caption:
“If I Were A Pig… I would be Rude and Thoughtless of course! ├░┼╕┬É┬╜”
Ha!
The 57-year-old thespian also got in the action by posting on his Instagram:

Even after the embarrassing voicemail was heard by the public, Ireland has stood by her father.
In 2012, she told PageSix:
“The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was├óΓé¼┬ª He’s said stuff like that before just because he’s frustrated… For me it was like, ‘Okay, whatever.’ I called him back, I was like, ‘Sorry Dad, I didn’t have my phone.’ That was it.”‘
We’re so glad Alec and Ireland can finally have a sense of humor about such a dark period in their lives!
