On Sunday’s SNL 40th anniversary episode, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin paid tribute to their 30 Rock co-star and friend, Tracy Morgan.

Sadly, Tracy missed the fun event due to serious injuries he sustained in a June 7 car accident which left fellow comedian, James McNair, dead.
To make up for Morgan’s unfortunate absence, Tina and Alec gave an emotional and funny shout-out to their pal.

We just hope the comedian gets better soon. We can’t imagine how difficult it must be for Tracy to recover from a traumatic brain injury while simultaneously managing his crash related legal battles.
