Eep!!
With all the scary things happening with aircraft lately, it’s no wonder people have been weary about flying!
Just a month after Twilight star Jackson Rathbone‘s incident aboard a jetBlue plane where the engine basically exploded, this American Airlines jet found itself in a similar predicament.
While the engine on this aircraft didn’t explode, the walls and seams of the plane started to come apart during the flight!

The plane, which was on its way to Dallas, Texas, made an emergency landing at the San Francisco airport after passengers alerted the workers of the frightening situation.
Passenger James Wilson described to the local news station what happened during the flight, he said:
“All of the sudden we heard this loud pop, pop, pop, pop, pop really loud and a ripping sound.”
Gah! We can’t imagine how everyone onboard felt when they saw that happening right in front of their very eyes!
After alerting the workers and the captain of the splitting walls, the captain declared it to be an emergency situation and returned to San Francisco.
No word yet on what caused the walls to come undone during the flight.
Hopefully they fix this problem and inspect all the other aircrafts because that’s a seriously terrifying ordeal to go through while being mid-air!
