Anna Faris Keeps It Positive Following Chris Pratt's 'Divorce Sucks' Comment!

While Chris Pratt might think that “divorce sucks,” Anna Faris is staying positive following their highly publicized split.
As you surely know, the Jurassic World star recently commented on the end of his marriage for the first time in Entertainment Weekly. Although the 38-year-old said the situation wasn’t “ideal,” he promised that he and Anna are trying to be “kind to one another” for the sake of their son Jack.

During her chat with SiriusXM‘s Hits 1 in Hollywood, Anna shared a similar (and, perhaps, more uplifting) sentiment regarding her divorce. On her current relationship with Chris, the Overboard actress shared:

“We have a great friendship, we really do and we always have. And it’s always tough to envision your future as one thing, but I think there is a lot of love. And in what we do there is so much [unpredictability.]”

Awwwwww. Since breakups are rarely easy, we’re glad to see that these two are coping well.
And it seems Anna has learned quite a bit from her union with Pratt. As she’s already moved on romantically with Michael Barrett, she’s decided to make this relationship far less public than her last one.
She relayed:

“I think it’s a lesson learned a little bit in terms of keeping relationships a little more private, potentially, even though I pride myself on being a pretty open person. But, I don’t know, it’s tough when you’re under the scrutiny.”

Fair point. There’s a reason why love dies quickly in Tinseltown!!
Faris appears to be cherishing her independence during this time too, as the Scary Movie alum added:

“I think it means valuing yourself. I was such an insecure kid that if anybody [was] remotely attracted liked me I was just completely smitten. Like, I can’t believe the popular guy likes me. I think my mom was always trying to reiterate: Value yourself, value yourself. We talk about that on the podcast a lot, about how women tend to not have strong egos as men and don’t really prioritize themselves.”

Well said.
Nonetheless, we hope things can stay amicable between Pratt and Faris in the near and distant future!!!
