Arie Luyendyk Jr. Takes One Contestant Home To Meet The Family As Feuds Brew Inside The Mansion -- Full Bachelor Recap HERE!

Arie Luyendyk Jr
Wow, what an episode.
Who knew Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s season of The Bachelor was going to offer some of the best reality TV moments — in just the second ep! So much drama already!
Instead of kicking off his journey with the usual group date, the former race-car driver decided to whisk Becca K. away (on a motorcycle, no less) for a day of being styled by Rachel Zoe in Malibu. Even though they hadn’t spent much time together, Arie gifted Becca several of Zoe’s designs, a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, and jewelry from Neil Lane! Um, yes please.
Later in the evening, Becca wore one of her new outfits for dinner, where she opened up about losing her father to brain cancer — something that brought her closer to the rest of her family. Arie gave her a rose after realizing there’s obviously a connection here. We don’t hate it.

His is second one-on-one date, Arie decided to take Krystal home to Scottsdale, Arizona to not only get an inside look at his day-to-day life (and also the Pizza Hut), but to meet his parents, brother, and sister-in-law! On the first date!
Arie appreciated that Krystal opened up about having a pretty tough upbringing, and then the two danced the night away to Connor Duermit. More on Krystal later.
Next up was the group date with 15 women. Fif-teen. Because we can’t get enough car references this season already, Arie had the contestants (Maquel, Marikh, Tia, Valerie, Annaliese, Lauren G., Kendall, Bekah M., Jenny, Seinne, Jenna, Caroline, Brittany, Bibiana ,and Chelsea) participate in a demolition derby where they basically just crashed their cars into each other repeatedly until the last woman standing.
Annaliese was triggered by a traumatic bumper car experience in her childhood… which most of the women found annoying because Arie was her shoulder to cry on. Classic move.
Seinne ended up winning the trophy, and the rose, and she’s already one of our favorites. Highly-educated, well-traveled, humble, and gorgeous! She actually might be way too good for Arie, who even admitted:

“I barely graduated high school and worked at Pizza Hut.”

It’s important to note here Bibiana was already starting to have a meltdown on the group date for not getting any alone time with the leading man. Case in point: she stormed off without letting the cameras follow her.
Now for the rose ceremony. This is where things get really good.
Krystal (the breathy talker who already has a rose from her one-on-one) interrupted other women still vying for a rose not once, but TWICE. And she really set herself up by cutting off the already-heated Bibiana during her chance to talk to Arie.
To make matters worse, after Krystal spoke with Arie for a second time, she went and sat right next to Bibiana who went OFF saying basically everything that everyone else in the house was thinking. Bibiana not-so-kindly let Krystal know she didn’t appreciate her “fake” tone and that she was done with her. Please, ABC, for the love of God, keep Bibiana around just for interactions like this.
Ultimately, Arie decided to send home Jenny, Valerie, and Lauren G. Jenny skipped saying goodbye to Arie, and when he went after her to console her, she said:

“I’m not sad about you. I’m sad about leaving my new friends.”

Y’all. Hahaha. What she meant was:

“I’m not sad about you. I’m sad about not making it long enough to get a Fab Fit Fun box.”

So good.
Tune in next week Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC for hopefully more trash entertainment like this!
