The former Governor of California is recovering right now after being attacked from behind and kicked in the back during a public event in South Africa earlier today.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was talking to fans and posing for pictures with children at his fourth annual Arnold Classic Africa event in the African nation on Saturday morning when out of nowhere, he was attacked from behind and drop kicked by a man running across the gymnasium.

It was a very bizarre scene on sight today — one that unfolded entirely on camera, as fans were taking videos of Arnold for social media ahead of the attack itself. But some fans, as you can see (below), managed to capture the entire attack and some of its aftermath on camera, too:

There’s pandemonium pretty much right after the moment Schwarzenegger was kicked; obviously, you can tell based on the video reaction that it clearly surprised him, and security guards and other people very quickly jumped on the man who kicked him and attempted to restrain the attacker.
A truly bizarre commotion followed the attack, though, with someone yelling out in the crowd what appears to be “help me, I need a Lamborghini!” Which… WTF?! What is going on in South Africa, y’all???

Regardless, Schwarzenegger himself proved to be just fine — and he took things in stride, too, releasing a public statement about his health hours later and downplaying the entire incident and the attacker’s strength (or lack thereof) in the public proclamation.
The Terminator star said (below):
“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”
Ha!!! So in other words… that dude delivered a WEAK kick!
Better come correct if you’re going to come for the Terminator, y’all!!
