Baywatch 'Nightmare'! Alexandra Paul Says Female Fan Stalked Her For 13 Years -- This Story Is WILD!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Alexandra Paul says she spent over a decade living a “nightmare” because a Baywatch fan was stalking her!

In a story published by The Ankler on Wednesday, the 61-year-old actress got candid about a woman she says spent 13 years (!!!) harassing and stalking her. She claims to have spent THOUSANDS in legal fees to try and get protection from the unnamed woman:

“This has been going on for 10 years. I’ve spent more than $60,000 in legal fees, hiring private investigators and installing security systems to try and protect my house. I check the street every time I leave home, avoid interactions with fans and rarely go to public events.”

So awful…

Alexandra said in the article that she dealt with some terrifying run-ins with the alleged stalker, which included her family, too:

“I have been swatted, my husband has been hit by a car driven by my stalker, my elderly mother has been harassed at her home in another state.”

Whoa, WHAT?!

How It Started

Alexandra details her very first interaction with this woman — something which seemed innocent enough. The lady came to her door in December 2011, ringing the doorbell of her and husband Ian Murray‘s Pacific Palisades home with her little brother — just a child — in tow. She asked if the boy could use the restroom, saying it was an emergency, that they lived three hours away and had nowhere else to go. For those who haven’t lived in El Lay, the neighborhood is HUGE and winding, so one could definitely find themselves unable to find a public toilet for a bit. Alexandra took pity on them:

“Always the people pleaser, I invited them in. I made small talk with her and introduced my husband Ian while the little boy used the toilet.”

The actress didn’t think much of the situation at first… and then things took a weird turn after the woman left her a thank you note at her door, a second note with chocolates, and a third note asking if her son could return to give her a picture he’d drawn of her. Whoa! From zero to 100. Ian called and asked the woman to leave them alone — which she did at first.

Trouble Begins

Nine months later, the woman rented a place just one block from the couple. Alexandra started to notice a “slow” increase in run-ins, including at her gym, a trail in her neighborhood, and at a community pool. Things really started to feel “eerie” when she’d “always” come to the gym at the same time and “choose the cardio equipment next to [her].” Unfortunately, the gym said “there was nothing they could do,” so she stopped going there.

The first restraining order came after the woman allegedly cornered her in a parking garage and tried to “physically” prevent her from getting away. The restringing order did no good, though, as Alexandra said she broke it 29 TIMES! Wtf…

The sad part, though, is she said police didn’t take her seriously — because the stalker was a woman:

“The policeman is young and, from the way he keeps telling me to calm down, it’s clear that he thinks I am a hysteric who had a falling out with a friend. That is because my stalker is a woman. A white European woman, conventionally attractive, neatly dressed and 20 years younger than I am. I have always felt having a female stalker has meant that my case is not taken as seriously as if it were a man — even though female celebrity stalkers commit violence at the same rates as men.”

Just terrifying. The Christine star said the stalker would change cars to make it difficult to know when she was “lurking” outside her house.

As things escalated, the German woman started to resent the actress’ husband. She “falsely told police [her] husband was beating [her]” and “crashed his workplace to falsely assert he was a pedophile.” The woman was convinced Alexandra was in love with her. During one of the hearings, she told a judge:

“If it wasn’t for Ian, Alexandra and I would be close friends.”

So. Beyond. Creepy.

As the years went on, the alleged stalker started to get more angry. The Stephanie Holden portrayer noted how she hung posters up accusing her of being a “criminal” and an “antisemite.” She also detailed how the woman sent her mother an “unhinged, nine-page letter” in which she claimed to be her daughter’s “secret lover who needed saving from [her] violent, cheating husband.”

Out For Revenge

Alexandra said she did everything she could to stop this since the moment it began — she had “taken out restraining orders, [her] stalker has been investigated by the FBI, arrested, jailed and deported to Germany” — but nothing would stop the woman.

Yeah, not even deportation worked! Eventually, police did deport the woman back to Germany, after they determined she’d immigrated illegally. But it only took two years for her to return, and this time she had a vengeance. She tried to sue Alexandra for “trying to run her off the road and kill her” — when in reality, it was her who was chasing the TV star and trying to “catch” her. She also started posting allegations on social media that Ian was a pedophile. In one note to him, she wrote:

“IAN you are such a douche no morals and values, spiteful and vindictive. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around what you have done to your spouse and a family. Must be really exhausting being you, especially when you’re always trying to make people believe you are something you are not.”

What an endless nightmare… and it doesn’t stop there.

At one point, Alexandra claims, the stalker straight up RAN OVER Ian! She said:

“Soon afterwards, when our sharp-eyed mail carrier notified us that she was sitting in a van outside our home, Ian went out to photograph the license plate. She drove her vehicle straight at him. He bounced off the hood, landing hard on the pavement, scraped and bruised, as she drove away.”

It even went as far as to the woman copying her outfits:

“This was not just frustrating, time-consuming and expensive. It was downright creepy. I knew what the stalker would be wearing each time because it was exactly what I had worn at the previous hearing.”

How It Ended

Moving away didn’t even solve the problem. The couple moved off, got “special new IDs” and everything, but it only took six weeks for the unnamed woman to find them again. Since she crossed state lines, though, the FBI were able to get involved. Nine months later, she was finally arrested.

And after ALL this, Alexandra and Ian were still gracious to her… somehow. The police notified the pair the alleged stalker had been diagnosed with breast cancer and uterine tumors and wanted to spend her last days “at home.” They found it within themselves to agree, and she died just last July at the age of 41.

Whoa. The fact that death is the only thing that seemed to be able to stop it is heartbreaking. The torment the Dragnet star and her family had to go through is so, so terrible…

We hope Alexandra and her loved ones have been able to find some peace. Thoughts on this horror story, Perezcious readers?
