Keeping it “cordial”!
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline may have their differences, but one thing they can agree on is their boys. While the exes don’t “do very much as a family” with their sons Preston and Jayden, their “coparenting” is kept civil.

An insider revealed to Us Weekly:
“Britney does not have much of a relationship with Kevin other than everyday coparenting stuff. They’re cordial but don’t do very much as a family.”
The source continued (below):
“Preston and Jayden are either with their mom or dad, very rarely both parents. Britney is seeing the boys for her birthday on Monday [December 2] and is excited to have dinner and celebrate with them.”
As we previously reported, the Toxic singer turned 38 on Monday and is seemingly staying focused on herself right now after a tumultuous few months. Between her ongoing conservatorship drama, reportedly checking herself into a mental health facility, and dealing with family squabbles, we’re SO glad to hear Brit seems to be doing so well. The confidant divulged:
“She has spent the last year prioritizing herself and her well-being, something she did not have a chance to do as much during her Las Vegas residency. She has had less time with her sons but got really close with her mom, Lynne [Spears], and sister, Jamie Lynn [Spears], again recently. Britney spends most of her time at home with her boyfriend, Sam [Asghari], or alone. Her relationship with Sam is rock-solid. He brings her so much joy and is a source of stability in her often chaotic life.”
Seems like the songstress has really turned a corner as of lately!! But don’t expect new music coming anytime soon. The source added:
“She isn’t making any new music at the moment and there are no immediate plans to reschedule her Domination residency.”
A source also reported to ET additional details about the legendary artist’s positive streak, maintaining how that a lot of it has to do with the continued support of 25-year-old Asghari:
“Britney and Sam are truly happy together but he doesn’t want to rush marriage. He wants the best for her and they’re just enjoying their time together. Sam loves her and so does his family.”
