And unfortunately for Bruce Springsteen, who was joined on stage by none other than Sir Paul McCartney during his headlining performance at London’s Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park last night, he learned that the hard way!
The duo, who are living legends in their own rights respectively, managed to ROCK OUT two INCREDIBLE renditiions of I Saw Her Standing There and Twist and Shout together before concert organizers pulled the plug…which meant they weren’t even allowed to thank the crowd!

Although the Boss nor the former Beatle have spoken out about it all, the E Street Band‘s Steven Van Zandt took to Twitter afterwards to blow off some steam:

Obviously, it was still an AH-MAZING show that will definitely be one for the history books, and we’re just glad that they got to at least perform together for a little bit!
No point in focusing on the negative! What’s done is done!
