Zendaya, Lucy Hale, Dove Cameron, & MORE Rally Around Bella Thorne Amid Nude Photo Controversy

Celebs stand up for Bella Thorne amid nude photo controversy.

Bella Thorne‘s friends will always have her back!
After releasing her own nude photos on social media in order to reclaim her power over a hacker who was allegedly threatening her, the Famous In Love actress was slammed by Whoopi Goldberg on The View for even taking the nudes in the first place.
In response, the 21-year-old took to social media to tearfully defend her choices, and now multiple celebrities have come forward to support their friend.

As we reported, Bella was extremely hurt and offended by the daytime TV host’s comments about her supposedly careless behavior.
In case you missed it, Goldberg said:

“If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are… you don’t take nude pictures of yourself. Once you take that picture, it goes into the cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it. And if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that.”

Lucy Hale was one of the first to DM Thorne, replying to her Instagram Stories about the situation saying:

“Good for you baby girl. I’m so proud of you for speaking up. This breaks my heart. But you’re making a difference for other girls and women.”

And fellow Disney star Dove Cameron also had Thorne’s back, tweeting:

“Where is the support for young women. I love women. Everyone should love wone. Don’t be an a**hole! Sexuality is part of being HUMAN. But judgement and objectification is not.”

Clearly feeling the love, Bella captioned her post (above), saying:

“When ur friends come out of the woodworks to support u is all u need to be brave. PART ONE and thank u @dovecameron for speaking up SO much on this matter and posting on your grid.”

Thorne says her pal and Shake It Up costar Zendaya also sent her words of encouragement, which sparked a longer conversation between them about slut-shaming in their generation:

“@zendaya called me today to make sure I was OK. We talked a lot about this generation, the one before us as well, and how as women we shouldn’t feel bad about ourselves [or] our bodies. Slut shaming is one of the biggest topics of this generation but yet we still keep going some how. It’s really really sad. ? the view ?.”

Bella also shared a screenshot of their text conversation. The Euphoria star’s message read:

“Just a reminder that you are strong and courageous and beautiful inside and out. You f**king broke my heart with that damn ig post but anyway, just being a f**king sap right now lmao. Just letting you know you’re a light and I’m super proud of you. Love you.”

Even some of the model’s exes reached out, including Tyler Posey. His text message to her read:

“Yo bell. I read a little about your nude thing. Really f**king cool wha you did 🙂 F**k that guy.”

The screenshots shared also include messages from Madison Beer, Lily Rose Depp, Serayah and controversial YouTube star Logan Paul. You can more of the conversations Bella uploaded HERE.
Clearly the author wasn’t alone in her feelings on this one! We’re glad others stepped up to support and continue this important conversation.
We have a feeling it won’t be over either, as we expect the ladies at The View will have a response.
