Even AFTER he insulted them! What a world! LOL! (we kid, we kid!)
It was confirmed by the head honchos at CTV that Charlie Sheen’s new sitcom, Anger Management, will be broadcasting in Canada on CTV. As production on the show doesn’t start until next year, there were no further details to share on scheduling or the networks plan for the strategic multi-platform roll-out.
The official announcement came after a taped message from Charlie himself, speaking directly to all of Canada about joining the fold. He said:
“You seem like the nicest people in the world. But I know the truth. You’re holding in a lot of anger. Why else would you drink so much beer, put on shoes with sharp blades, and smack each other around with wooden sticks?”
Aye! Oh! Knock that off! We know a lot of people who are happy there are a bunch of drunk guys up in Canada with blades on their feet and sticks in their hand. That’s the wonder of hockey!!!
As to why the station decided to pick up Charlie’s new TV venture, Phil Kin, President of CTV programming, explained via the official announcement:
“Charlie Sheen├óΓé¼Γäós ANGER MANAGEMENT already has the television industry buzzing and it hasn├óΓé¼Γäót even gone into production yet. With the pedigree behind this production, we├óΓé¼Γäóre confident this program will deliver to both viewers and advertisers alike.”
Fair enough! Everyone is looking at the big picture here – and there are MANY dollar signs in that picture!
