Chris Rocks Says ‘No One Would Care’ About Suspected CEO Shooter Luigi Mangione If He Looked Like Jonah Hill

Chris Rock has THOUGHTS on the UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting.

The controversial comedian took up hosting duties during this weekend’s installment of Saturday Night Live and addressed Brian Thompson’s highly-publicized murder in his opening monologue — or rather, the perceived attractiveness of suspected shooter Luigi Mangione! Referencing the 26-year-old’s arrest and the internet’s subsequent thirst over him, Chris said:

“We got Luigi, you know, that’s good. I really feel sorry for the family. I mean, everybody is fixating on how good looking this guy looks.”

However, the 59-year-old believes if Luigi looked different, people wouldn’t care as much about the case… And he savagely used Jonah Hill to paint a dismal picture:

“If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care. They’d already given him the chair already. He’d be dead, OK?”

Yeesh…

He went on to express shock over how Luigi allegedly “killed a man” with a family and kids before adding in another edgy joke. He said:

“I have real condolences for the healthcare CEO. This is a real person, you know? But you also got to go, ‘You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot.’ I mean, you’ve seen The Wire, right?”

Oof… You can watch Chris’ opening monologue and more from this week’s SNL (below):
