Ugh! This is sad.
1,000 roosters were euthanized after a cockfighting ring was busted in Ventura, California.
Authorities say the roosters had to be euthanized due to their aggressive nature.
It’s sad that these animals were bred to fight each other for human spectators. After all, isn’t that what UFC is for?
16 men were arrested with 12 of them booked with misdemeanor charges for spectating this disgusting event, while 2 were booked for investigation of felony animal cruelty.
Let’s hope these men pay for their crime, then learn to do something better with their time.
