Comedian Sienna Hubert-Ross is suing her boyfriend — making horrible allegations of abuse and even attempted murder!
On Tuesday, DailyMail.com obtained the 25-year-old’s New York Supreme Court complaint, which details a horrific August 8 incident in which her boyfriend Oliver Lane allegedly attacked her — all while her mother and friend listened horrified over the phone.

Sienna has become famous on social media for her Kamala Harris impersonations, like this one (below):
She says she first met Oliver — whose father is the head of Morgan Stanley’s European real estate division — back in May on Hinge. Within a week and a half of their first date, the marketing exec told the comic “he loved her” and promised to stop communicating with his ex-girlfriend, Sammy. That’ll be important later…
Oliver told Sienna he wanted her to move into a Lower East Side apartment with him and his roommate, Will, whom she believed “had a homosexual love interest in Lane.” She confessed she worried “if they lived together, Will and Lane would engage in a romantic affair.” Um… wow. This led to an argument on July 26 at O’Hanlon’s Bar, per the suit. Sienna says Lane shoved her before telling her on the taxi ride home:
“I’m going to f**king kill you.”
Jeez.
The guy sure did get offended by the idea he might hook up with his guy friend.
When he shoved her AGAIN the next day, Sienna says, she “conceded” and agreed to move in. Girl, no. Red flag doesn’t mean go! Unsurprisingly, issues sadly arose yet again in the early hours of August 8 when the couple ran into a friend of Sienna’s with whom she had a brief “hook up” years earlier. Lane demanded to look at his partner’s phone to find proof of cheating. He couldn’t. But turnabout is fair play. Only when she asked to look at his phone, she discovered he had been texting with his ex!
The ex-lovers weren’t just platonically chatting either — it was “romantic”! Not only that, Oliver was allegedly talking s**t about Sienna! The complaint claims he called her “an immature little bitch” and a “little c**t.” Jeez. The suit noted:
“Lane begrudgingly gave Hubert-Ross his phone and she saw why he was so angry and defensive. […] Namely, because Lane and Sammy had extensive and recent romantic text communications, including texts where Lane told Sammy that she was the only one for him and that Lane often woke up thinking about her, when he was in bed with Hubert-Ross.”
Oliver freaked out over this — and the alleged violence began. The court papers continued:
“Before Hubert-Ross could review any further, Lane snatched his phone back from her and violently threw her into the stove. Hubert-Ross stayed on the ground, stunned and shocked by what had just occurred. Unfortunately for Hubert-Ross, this was just the beginning of Lane’s violent assault and attempted murder. As she laid terrified on the kitchen floor, Lane violently grabbed Hubert-Ross by her arms, dragged her into the bathroom, picked her up and threw her into the porcelain bathtub.”
Awful. Per the New York Post, Lane ignored the stand-up star’s pleas that they break up and for him to stop hurting her, responding, “You ruin f**king everything.”
The doc, via Daily Mail, noted that the up-and-coming actress could do little to defend herself against the 6′ 1″ attacker — that said, she was able to dial her mom and text a friend, Sarah, that she was in trouble, writing:
“r u awake. Oliver just hit me”
During the altercation, Sienna’s mom merged Sarah into the call and they both listened as the “vicious assault and battery” went on, she claimed in the doc:
“The two of them could only contemporaneously listen, helplessly horrified and stunned as they heard Lane’s fists pounding Hubert-Ross while she screamed in terror and pleaded with him to let her live.”
Oh my…
The complaint continued:
“Lane next grabbed Hubert-Ross and threw her off the bed, causing her to violently hit her head against the bottom of the bedframe and she briefly lost consciousness.”
OMG!
The Brit had lots of excuses for his texts too, the plaintiff claimed:
“Lane continued to throw Hubert-Ross around the room, yelling at her and telling her that Sammy was there to support him during a difficult medical diagnosis. Lane then sat on top of Hubert-Ross on the bed, propped her up and violently slapped her across the face at full strength multiple times. Lane also bit her on the arm.”
Both women on the phone also insist they heard the banker’s son say he wanted to KILL his girlfriend, and the complaint alleges that he tried. Sienna says he put his hands around her neck and tried to choke her. She managed to kick him in a “last ditch effort to save herself” — but it only made Lane angrier and he slapped her on the face. He then tried to murder her again, the complaint claims:
“Hubert-Ross continued to scream and plead with Lane to stop. However, rather than relent to her pleas, he dialed up the attack and took a pillow, put it over Hubert-Ross’s head and mouth and began to suffocate her.”
Thankfully, she didn’t give up the fight:
“Hubert-Ross somehow managed to escape this attempted murder and run out of the room, but Lane quickly followed and grabbed her by the arm to drag her back to the bedroom. In the bedroom Lane tried to punch her but missed, shattering the glass door to the bedroom. Thankfully, Lane’s first missed punch of the night created a barrier of broken glass between him and Hubert-Ross. Then, before Lane could then finish the job and kill Hubert-Ross, he stepped on the broken glass which temporarily disabled him in time for the police – called by Sarah – to arrive at the scene.”
Whoa.
Cops were able to get Sienna — who was “bruised, bloody and battered” — to safety. She quickly obtained an order of protection against her beau — which he broke the very next day by texting her. Ugh.
Per DailyMail, court records showed the 26-year-old was criminally charged with strangulation in the second degree — a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison — as well as assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing, both misdemeanors. DailyMail.com reported Sienna is now requesting $5 million in damages for physical and emotional ailments that will require ongoing therapy, such as for Acute Stress Disorder, depression, and suicidal ideation. However, the New York Post claims she is requesting $20 million. Either way, it’s a large number due to her injuries and the fact her career was also affected by the attack, the complaint noted:
“Moreover, on August 14, 2024, Hubert-Ross had an audition with a very well-known broadcast network television show, something which Lane knew about before he viciously assaulted her. […] Because of Lane’s attack, Hubert-Ross auditioned while covered in bruises and suffering from the mental trauma of the event, which negatively impacted her performance and she was not offered the role.”
Her 13-page complaint included images of her legs and arms covered with bruises and scratches. See (below):
So horrible.
Brett Gallaway, a partner at McLaughlin & Stern, the firm representing the influencer, told the outlet:
“We are proud of Ms. Hubert-Ross for having the courage to come forward as an advocate for victims of domestic-violence and even more so, as an advocate for herself. The allegations against Mr. Lane are very serious as it was a brutal attack leaving both physical and emotional scars that will haunt her for the rest of her life. Mr. Lane will now be forced to answer for his crimes, and we look forward to ensuring he pays for his cowardly actions.”
Oliver pleaded not guilty at an August 8 arraignment and was released from custody. He is due back for a November 20 hearing.
