Will the Rocky franchise turn into the Creed franchise?!
By the looks of the new trailer for the upcoming sequel Creed, we think that might be the case!
The newest trailer shows Michael B. Jordan playing Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, who gets trained by an aging Rocky Balboa (played, of course, by Sylvester Stallone)!

The new clip also gives us a glimpse of the film’s leading ladies — The Cosby Show alum Phylicia Rashad plays Adonis’ mother and Apollo’s widow. Tessa Thompson also appears as Adonis’ love interest!
Is all this emotional storyline for Adonis just setup for the franchise to carry on following a different underdog boxer? Check out the trailer (above) and see what you think!
