What? Why?!
Boston-based fragrance marketer SA Fragrances has inked a deal for professional race car driver Danica Patrick to release a new fragrance called Danica Patrick for her.
We could see her endorsing deodorant or something of that nature, but releasing her own perfume?? Who wants to smell like race car driver??
We’re sure Danica herself smells lovely, but we just think she’s an incredibly odd choice from a marketing standpoint.
The scent will launch mid-March and will sell in about 750 U.S. stores with prices ranging from $29.50 for a 1-oz. spray to $54.50 for a 3.4-oz spray.
The fragrance will be advertised in beauty and fashion mags as well as promoted at races.
So bizarre. Would U ever want to smell like Danica??
