Man Arrested For Biting Dog, Tearing Out Her Eyeball! But The Owners Are DEFENDING HIM!!

no title
This is the most horrifying thing we’ve heard all week, and these days that’s saying something!
Long Island native Aaron Kluger was arrested on Saturday after a relative told a local animal hospital what happened to the family dog.
It seems on November 6, Aaron bit his his parents’ dog Chloe’s head, pulling out the 3-year-old Shih Tzu’s eyeball. THANKFULLY, the veterinarian was able to reattach the eye and is hopeful Chloe will regain her sight.

As for Aaron, he’s facing one charge of misdemeanor animal torture after an investigation by the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Innerestingly, the 20-year-old’s parents are actually defending Aaron as just having been playful with the dog. 58-year-old Dan Kluger told the NY Daily News:

“It was an accident. You should know that a Shih Tzu’s eye can be displaced just by pulling the skin back… They put it back in place. It was hardly noticeable. I didn’t even think she required immediate medical attention.”

Wha??
Yeah. Mr. Kluger went on to call the arrest “totally outrageous”:

“This is crazy. They made it appear as if he performed vivisection on this dog. My son is suicidal now. He’s terribly upset.”

Kluger described his son as an emotionally disabled heroin addict who had to drop out of school in sixth grade because of social anxiety. Maybe he should not be around dogs either?
Mom Mary Kluger backed her husband’s story that Aaron was the only one who wanted to take Chloe to the animal hospital in the first place:

“He was playing with her and it busted out… He was concerned. He saw that it was slightly out and he went online and he saw that it was something that had to be taken care of, so he made sure that his dad brought the dog to the animal hospital.”

According to the SPCA, vets were able to easily determine the bite on Chloe’s head came from a human. That doesn’t sound like “playing” to us.
It sounds like that dog just needs a new home altogether…
What do YOU think of this insanity??
