Oh deer!!!
These Canadian caribou went for one wild ride down the Porcupine River in Old Crow, Yukon!
The herd was together when suddenly the sheet of ice that they were standing on broke apart and sent them down stream!
Ah!
A local woman grabbed her video camera and recorded the reindeer as they passed by!
Some even jump into the water to try and swim to shore!
Such cold water though!
Dayna Lord, who took the video, explained that this is just part of being a wild animal though, saying:
“We├óΓé¼Γäóve seen some run off the ice and we├óΓé¼Γäóve seen another bunch of caribou jump off the ice and run up the bank. A lot of people feel bad, but it├óΓé¼Γäós just something that happens every year.├óΓé¼┬¥
Those poor guys!
Luckily, despite how big and heavy they are, caribou have large hooves that allow them to paddle through the water.
But we hope they can swim in that icy river though!
Ch-ch-check out the AH-Mazing video below!
