Eminem has made a career off of shock value, and in case you were wondering, he’s still pushing the envelope.
The 42-year-old rapper put out a new freestyle, SHADY CXVPHER, to help hype his new Shady Records compilation Shady XV, and it gets a little out of control.

Following up rapper Royce Da 5’9″, Em starts spittin’, using his now-expected NSFW homophobic slurs and referencing violence several times, before he even mentions Lana Del Rey.
Then, about halfway through the freestyle, Marshall Mathers broaches the subject of Ray Rice brutally hitting his now-wife Janay Rice. He raps:
“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice
Play nice? Bitch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance
‘Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”
Oddly, LDR said back in 2012 that she “f*cking love[s] Eminem,” but we wonder how she’ll feel now.
And did we mention he also goes after Britney Spears and Tony Stewart too??? He offensively raps:
“When I start shifting gears and sh*t besmears all over Britney Spears and these little Disney queers who use chicks for beards?….
When I step in the vocal booth like I’m supposed to do and I murder you on a fuckin’ track like Tony Stewart.”
While a fierce freestyle, almost everything Eminem says is offensive in one way or another, but that’s how he’s built his entire career!
Em is in it for the shock value, and he succeeded at that once again. We still urge him not to promote hate and violence, but we have a feeling it won’t do much good.
