Judd Apatow and Howard Stern are feuding over a tweet made by Apatow last week where Apatow dissed Stern about promoting America’s Got Talent so frequently.
Apatow, on his Twitter page, wrote:
“I hate to say it but I don’t have much interest in discussions about america’s got talent, I tried. It is just too much synergy. @sternshow”
Well, apparently, Stern hated that Judd said it, too.
Stern responded:
“I only spend half my life there. I won’t talk about it. Hey man, do I talk about that last s–tty film you made? If you’re not down with it, get the f–k off my channel.”
Wow! Apatow must’ve really struck a nerve with Stern to get such a response, huh?
But Apatow fired back:
“All Of Our work is debated. That is part of it, I don’t get a free pass [and neither] does he. My comment was not even interesting. It gets blown out of proportion by the press who has nothing to write about and Howard who has time to fill. We all Like Certain Parts.”
Stern’s official twitter page called off the war by saying:
“Howard says the war is over w/@JuddApatow because he Apatow said ‘I will love the show always. It was a pretty mild tweet.'”
What a relief! Those two are way too funny to be fighting with each other. They should be fighting with other people.
