German University Shuts Down Pig Lab

At German’s University of Ulm, there was an elective medical training course where pigs were regularly cut apart, surgically mutilated and killed.
So PETA Germany asked supporters to contact university officials and ask them to stop. Two hours later, the university announced that they would be permanently closing the pig lab.
Leave it to the Germans to be efficient!
PETA U.S.helped PETA Germany by drafting a brief that described humane, non-animal option for teaching procedures that don’t involve pigs.
Germany may have the right idea, but here, specifically at the Medical University of South Carolina, they still mutilate and kill live, defenseless piggies in trauma training exercises.
