On Sunday, the always wonderful Meryl Streep delivered one of the most AH-Mazing speeches calling out Donald Trump as she accepted the Cecil B. Demille award at the Golden Globes.
As you probably know, Trump couldn’t help but prove his immaturity by taking to Twitter to respond and call Miz Streep “over-rated.” SRSLY?!?

While our best guess is “over-rated” is just another word that Donald needs to look up, SEVERAL celebrities took to social media to defend Meryl after the President-elect’s bullying tweets! Chelsea Handler, Alec Baldwin, and Judd Apatow all chimed in, blasting Trump for his classless tweets!
Ch-ch-check out all the AH-Mazing responses from around Hollywood to Donald’s asinine tweets (below)!
If Trump believes that criticism of, opposition to, distaste for his election will eventually subside, he is mistaken.
It’s just starting.

Many things in Hollywood are “over-rated” – Meryl Streep’s acting isn’t one of them.

Trump thinks Sessions is great, Big Macs are healthy, Streep is overrated, Scott Baio is underrated, Russia didn’t hack, and grabs pussy.

Trump thinks this video is him mocking someone’s groveling. Seems like even that would be the bizarre behavior of an awful bully. https://t.co/rM6qFpAxat

Billy Eichner, who previously got into it with Meghan McCain also responded to Donald’s tweets, saying:
It doesn’t matter what Trump thinks of Meryl. What matters is he’s ignoring American intelligence agencies, which is a threat to our…

Other celebs continued:
Trump takes the bait & calls #MerylStreep overrated?! Please Pres-Elect. Don’t make this into the WWF which is fun but not presidential

No President should be tweeting like this. Grow tf up. https://t.co/tHvKLoHoCY

A bigger man would own his mistake and apologize for mocking him. A better president would take criticism without name calling on Twitter. pic.twitter.com/bKTfW0OcnD

Donald, we all saw you mock that disabled reporter. You also mocked Marlee Matlin as “retarded.” Just admit you’re a bully–and a liar. pic.twitter.com/xaw98h7DnT

Trump’s response to Meryl Streep–childish, churlish, petulant–is exactly why most Americans fear his presidency. Emtoionally unqualified.
