Blake Lively Refuses Gossip Girl Movie; Infuriates Leighton Meester & Penn Badgley!?

Heads up, Upper East Siders… word on the street is that S is being a major pain in the ass for her former castmates.
Despite the overwhelming fan desire for Gossip Girl to continue on the big screen (the series ended after six seasons in December), sources say Blake Lively thinks a movie is an awful idea and won’t sign on to anything.
The source close to the situation reveals:

“She├óΓé¼Γäós being pressured on all sides to sign on, but she thinks it’s a terrible idea and is desperate to avoid the project.”

This is apparently “infuriating” everyone else… and everyone else MUST include Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley, right??
Well, maybe not… because last we heard of Penn’s thoughts on the matter, he was SO over playing hipster Dan.
And we’re pretty sure Leighton is busy cultivating other things now — like Adam Brody! And okay, her fairy hippie queen music career.
So is this rumor true?? Well, we’d be willing to bet half of it. There’s no way Blake would wanna come back to GG so soon after its series end. She’s gonna try bigger pastures first.
But seriously, if they ever did do a GG movie, we think fans would be fine without Serena. CHAIR and DAIR can hold down the absurdly elegant fort any night of the week!
