Hugh Hefner Demands Lawsuit Labeling Him An Accomplice To Alleged Rape Committed By Bill Cosby Be Dismissed!

Hugh Hefner is not in the mood to be sued.
Over the weekend, it was revealed the Playboy founder is demanding the lawsuit that calls him an accomplice to Bill Cosby‘s alleged rape of Chloe Goins in 2008 be dismissed. Whoa.

As you may know, Miz Goins claims she was sexually assaulted by the comedian in 2008 while at an event at the Playboy Mansion. According to her side of the story, Hef told the model she was looking “woozy” and that she should go lie down in one of the bedrooms.
Goins states The Cosby Show alum drugged her and adds the media mogul “knew or should have known” about it because the 78-year-old had a history of:

“…intoxicating and or drugging young women and taking advantage of them sexually and against their will or while they were unconscious.”

This accusation obviously didn’t make the famed businessman very happy as he called the lawsuit:

“…a desperate ploy to garner publicity and wrangle an unwarranted settlement.”

Yikes. Not to mention, the 90-year-old’s lawyers have slammed Chloe’s allegations by claiming she doesn’t have “the lightest dusting of operative facts” in terms of evidence. It appears Hefner’s legal team will be trying to get the case dismissed thanks to statute of limitation laws — since it’s believed Chloe wasn’t a minor at the time of alleged assault the case could be time-barred.
Attorney Anthony Glassman explained:

“The District Attorney’s office was given no reason to believe she was a minor at the time of the incident and proceeded as if Goins was an adult victim, as demonstrated by the contemplated criminal charges against Cosby. The office declined to prosecute Cosby because it deemed the charges were barred by the statute of limitations. Not surprisingly, Hefner’s name is not mentioned in the District Attorney’s report, as investigating authorities never considered Hefner was responsible for, or participated in, Cosby’s alleged criminal acts.”

Huh. To make matters worse for Chloe’s case, neither herself or Cosby reportedly appear on either the guest list or in footage from the 2008 bash.
