Well hello again Miss Effie Trinket!
Hunger Games fans (AKA everyone ever LOLz), prepare to feast your peepers on a slice of tasty Catching Fire pie in the form of a “Capitol Portrait” featuring District 12’s official representative, Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks, above)!
This stylized image was posted today on Catching Fire‘s Facebook, and was accompanied by the caption:
“It’s a big, big, big day. The #EffieTrinketCapitolPortrait has arrived! Chins up. Smiles on. #LadiesFirst”
And what a classy portrait it is! Effy simply OOZES elegance out of every ORIFICE in that feathery, scarlet ensemble!
This is the first in a series of Catching Fire character portraits depicting various members of the Capitol — and perhaps even winning tributes Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) — that are being posted on a special Facebook page called Capitol Couture.
What a unique, fun way of creating character posters!
We cannot WAIT to see the rest of the portraits, as judging by this beautiful, rich image of Effie, they will be candy treats for the eyes!
