It’s a not big secret that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are a “thing.”
Okay, yes, they’ve never really said the words out loud or to the press that they’re together, but the signs are all there. Hand holding. Nicknames. Trips with their parents to foreign countries. More hand holding. Undeniable onscreen chemistry. If that all doesn’t equal out to love, we don’t know what does!
So, it came to no surprise to us when both Ian and Nina gushed about each other to the press during the CW Premiere Party this weekend. First, Ian raved about the kind of woman Nina is:
“She truly enjoys life. Her desire to experience and appreciate everything around her, and chuckle and enjoy it, is great. When you’re really close to someone, they can make fun of you a lot and get away with it. But they sort of poke you in all of the places — it all makes sense because they know you so well and it really pisses you off, but it forces you to sort of be introspective and ask yourself, ‘Wow, is that really how people see me?’ Apparently so!”
Oh yeah! We forgot to throw in the bit about the teasing. They are ALWAYS flirting with each other. Don’t act like you haven’t seen it.
Nina in turn had some nice things to say about her Vampire Diaries off(and on?)-screen beau as well, gushing:
“He always has a positive outlook and positive energy, and he’s always happy. He is a glass-half-full kind of guy, not half-empty.”
Now, what girl doesn’t want a fella like that in her life! (Or what guy for that matter!)
Ah! We’re jealous of your love … but we’re thrilled we get to see some of it play out this week on the season premiere of The Vampire Diaries!
