Don't Come For Jada Pinkett Smith! Will's Wife Just Secured FIVE-FIGURE PAYOUT In Legal Battle Against Actor's Former Friend!

Jada Pinkett Smith is getting paid after a lengthy court battle.

Will Smith’s wife has emerged victorious in her legal pursuit against Bilaal Salaam, the self-described “best friend for nearly 40 years” of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor!

For those who haven’t been following along, drama broke in 2023 when Salaam, who goes by Brother Bilaal, claimed to have once walked in on Will having sex with Duane Martin. His story was never verified, and Jada quickly vowed to sue. During an appearance on The Breakfast Club at the time, Jada called the rumors surrounding Will’s sexuality “ridiculous” and accused Salaam of spreading them after a failed “money shakedown” attempt.

However, Salaam didn’t back down…

Two years later in 2025, he sued Jada for $3 million for allegedly inflicting emotional distress on him… to make a long story short, he claimed that on multiple occasions, once in 2021, and again in 2022 after Will’s Oscars slap controversy, Jada rounded up a posse to intimidate him — the first time to try and force him to sign an NDA, and the second after he refused to help with damage control after the Oscars slap amid rumors he was working on a memoir about his time with the Smiths.

Salaam claimed that because of the alleged threats, he suffered an array of damages, including PTSD, the early onset of high blood-pressure and Type 2 diabetes, a weight gain of 100 pounds, and more.

However, it appears the court has not ruled in his favor.

On Wednesday, TMZ reported that a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge threw out several of Salaam’s claims, and awarded Jada a five-figure payout for her attorney’s fees! According to court docs, The Matrix actress asked for $49,181, but the judge reduced the amount to $32,836.
