Jaden & Willow Smith Give One Of The Oddest Interviews EVER! Highlights About Them Thinking School Makes Kids Depressed & More HERE!

Well, this was all VERY interesting — to say the least!
Jaden and Willow Smith recently sat down with the New York Times to talk about…basically anything and everything!
While the publication wrote a disclaimer saying the interview was edited and condensed for the article, it’s clear the Smith kids had a lot of inneresting and downright odd things to say about their music, school, and what’s coming up next!

When asked about why they make music, Jaden and Willow simply stated it was because there’s not much out there that’s cool or worth listening to!
They said:

Jaden: We’re just trying to make music that we think is cool. We don’t think a lot of the music out there is that cool. So we make our own music. We don’t have any song that we like to listen to on the Pacific Coast Highway by any other artist, you know?
Willow: That’s what I do with novels. There’re no novels that I like to read so I write my own novels, and then I read them again, and it’s the best thing.

Huh. Okay, we can definitely…respect that?!
Everyone has their own opinion on music that’s currently out there, but to say there’s not a lot that’s good is a pretty big claim! Delusional?! Debatable.

The two teens then went on to talk about education and how school makes kids depressed. We WISH we were making this up!
They said:

Jaden: Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to.
Willow: Forever, ├óΓé¼╦£til the day that we’re in our bed.
Jayden: Kids who go to normal school are so teenagery, so angsty.
Willow: They never want to do anything, they’re so tired.
Jayden: You never learn anything in school. Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out.
Willow: I went to school for one year. It was the best experience but the worst experience. The best experience because I was, like, “Oh, now I know why kids are so depressed.” But it was the worst experience because I was depressed.

Noted! We guess…
So, what exactly is next for Will and Jada‘s kids? After reading the last two passages, this answer may not even surprise you:

Jayden: I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time. And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet.
Willow: I think by the time we’re 30 or 20, we’re going to be climbing as many mountains as we can possibly climb.

It’s safe to say these kids are on another level, but we appreciate their confidence!
