James Franco and Busy Philipps played quite the hormonal high school couple on Freaks and Geeks.
But off screen, their heated relationship was apparently way less making out and more physical fights!
Busy stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday and was asked to name the most difficult celeb she’s ever worked with — and named her former on-screen boyfriend!

Sitting down with Andy Cohen, the 37-year-old admitted she and Franco had such a contentious relationship while filming Judd Apatow‘s teen drama series, he once shoved her to the ground!
She explained:
“Well at the time, but we’ve since made amends, James Franco and I really didn’t get along. When we were on Freaks and Geeks, we were 19 and we really, really disliked each other. He shoved me to the ground once, it was really brutal.”
Wow, we knew the Freaks had a bad reputation — but that’s some serious tension!
It’s so hard to imagine adult James Franco being a violent teenager…
