Janet Jackson Reveals She 'Split' Her Pants During Performance For Queen Elizabeth!

Janet Jackson almost completely embarrassed herself in front of Queen Elizabeth!

In a new My Life In Looks video with British Vogue on Thursday, the 58-year-old opened up about her Royal Variety performance back in the ’90s — and she revealed she had an absolutely wild wardrobe malfunction! Years before the term “wardrobe malfunction” was even invented to describe her Super Bowl fiasco with Justin Timberlake!

While looking at her past outfits, she saw what she wore for her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony back in 1990. She recalled it was designed by Bill Whitten for her Rhythm Nation 1814 album. The look was heavily inspired by the Ray Bradbury book Fahrenheit 451, according to the singer. Neat! See the ‘fit for yourself (below):

ICONIC!

But it’s what happened in front of the late Queen that made this look all the more memorable for Janet. She told the outlet she also wore this get-up to perform for the royal family, and it… didn’t go so well:

“Funny story about this outfit. I was performing for the Queen of England and we were doing Rhythm Nation. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn’t believe it happened. I thought, ‘Oh my God’.”

Oh no!!

The worst part is the That’s the Way Love Goes songstress knew it wasn’t just a trick of the imagination — she started feeling a draft:

“And then I started feeling air back there, so I knew it had really happened.”

After this, she made sure to keep herself “faced forward” no matter what the choreo was supposed to be. She said she didn’t want to “flash” poor Liz! Ch-ch-check out the full video (below):

Ha! We can imagine that would definitely add some variety to the Royal Variety! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
