Jason DeRulo Calls Robin Thicke & His Album Paula 'Desperate' But Also Defends Him?! Huh?!?

WHOOOOA! Some harsh words coming from Jason DeRulo!
He called Robin Thicke desperate for penning the entire album after her estranged wife Paula Patton!
WHOA! Well, at least someone said it! But, WAIT A MINUTE!
The Talk Dirty singer makes it clear he did not mean pathetic, but that Robin is desperate because he’s got no other options…
He said:

“I think when somebody’s desperate, they’re desperate. I can’t knock him for trying. He’s trying everything to get his girl back, so I can’t knock him for that…
I talked to him personally, and we’re not necessarily like the best of friends or anything, but you know, he mentioned something about that. So you can tell when somebody is in dire need of having that special person back. And I think that’s all it is.”

Well, at least he can SEE what the rest of the world sees!
But, he’s not just calling Robin needy, he’s also defending his creative process too!
Jason said:

“As a musician, as a songwriter, that’s what we do. We put our hearts on our sleeves and what’s ever on our mind we just go to our safe zone, which is writing songs.
So it seems to me that it’s right in line with what a creative person would actually do. I think if he wasn’t creative, then he wouldn’t be talking about it all but the fact that he’s a creative guy, that’s what’s on his mind and that’s what he’s going to talk about.”

Hmmm… we guess we see what Jason is saying.
Even if it didn’t work for Robin, since they’re selling their house and everything!
But at least Robin has one person who understands him!
