Jason Momoa slams two men who allegedly cut off a shark’s tail in Iceland.
On Sunday on Instagram, the Aquaman star posted a screenshot of what appears to be an article from Green World Warriors about a video allegedly showing seamen — Halldór Gústaf and Gunnar Þór — harming the fish, laughing about it, before tossing it back into the sea.

The actor — who also posted the individuals’ alleged Facebook pages — had choice words for the fishermen.
He wrote:
“And there you are……it sucks to see that you are probably good men friends providers fathers but you f**king did this. Your life will forever change I have never in my life seen something so cruel. Your laugh makes me furious never have I wanted to hurt a human as much as I did when I heard your laugh and what u said. This will change you and hopefully you will save and protect I pray you find redemption. we all make mistakes but what u did was evil PURE EVIL. You will get what that shark got. F**K YOU”
The Game of Thrones alum also posted the disturbing clip on his IG feed, adding the text:
“Follow @savethereef WTF. F**k these a**holes I’m so f**king upset What is wrong with humans I would give anything to catch these idiots F**K. Please repost to get these f**kers.”
Per Green World Warriors, the video in question was brought to attention by social media user, Christel Ýr Johansen, who wrote on Facebook:
“SUCH SICK LOSERS! The guy is so proud of himself that he disabled comments because no one seems to agree with him … got a screengrab before he closed that.. share at will ;)”
Reportedly, one of the seamen can be heard shouting in the clip:
“Good luck trying to swim, you bastard!”
Per news outlet RÚV, the men have been fired from the ship they worked on, with the owners of the ship commenting:
“This act is completely unjustifiable and those who committed it have no excuse. The owners have no other choice but to refuse any more services from the person displaying this kind of behaviour.”
According to Þóra Jóhanna Jónasdóttir, a veterinarian of animal welfare at the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority, the individuals broke several laws, and may face up to a million ISK — around $8000 U.S. dollars — in fines on animal cruelty charges.
