Jennifer Lopez To Shakira Before The Super Bowl: 'Let's Show The World What Two Little Latin Girls Can Do'

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira prepare for the big game with words of encouragement for each other

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are apparently more than ready to take over the world at halftime of the Super Bowl later today!

The 50-year-old pop queen took to Instagram just hours ago to share her well-wishes to fellow halftime show artist Shakira — who, by the way, is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, too — with a very special message shouting out their joint heritage ahead of the big game! This is so cute… and so inspiring!

Writing directly to her fellow Latin pop idol while sharing a pic of the two of them hugging, J.Lo showed so much love with this one, as you can see (below):

Awww!!! That’s so great! We love it!!

Along with the pic, J.Lo wrote the following sweet message in the caption (below):

“So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira! Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do. #LetsGetLoud #GirlPower”

Amen to that!!

Shakira shared her own funny post about the big game yesterday, showing off a new look for herself rockin’ a way-too-big football helmet over her gorgeous, curly locks (below):

LOLz!!!

The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT, so it won’t be too long now before we know what’s up with the pair’s halftime show. For the most part, it’s been kept under wraps pretty well without too many leaks or anything like that.

Of course, Lopez did tease some things about the upcoming show in a guest spot on Good Morning America earlier this week, so there is that. At one point during her interview on the popular morning show, Alex Rodriguez‘s better half and the mom of two said:

“Here’s what I’ll say. We accomplished what we set out to do. And for that, we’re really excited for everybody to see it. Because it’s gonna be a lot of fun.”

Interesting, indeed!!! Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what she means by all of that…

Obviously, with the game just hours away, questions abound: what can we expect from the National Anthem? Who will win the game, anyways — the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers? And what will the score be?! Will anything crazy happen during the game — or during the commercials, which are always much-anticipated?? And what about this halftime show, anyways?!

So many questions for y’all… sound off with all your opinions and more in the comments down (below)!!!
