Discovery loves their rural shows, and has recently picked up two brand new ones!
The first one is about moonshiners who keep up the 200 year tradition in very remote places of Appalachia. Yes, even some of them aren’t doing it legally! That one is aptly named Moonshiners.
But the real crown jewel of the two (lol, get it??) would have to be Mountain Men of Alaska, where the guys straight up live off the land: hunting, fishing, and doing whatever they can to get them through the winters. Pretty brutal stuff.
Men will actually be following Jewel, the famed singer’s dad! His name is Atz Kilcher (her legal name is Jewel Kilcher) and he sounds like one tough dude. It’ll be interesting to see him in his element!!
