On Sunday, breakup rumors began circulating after a source told Deuxmoi the Real Housewives of New York City star kicked her man to the curb a few months ago, and that he’s already “out dating publicly.” And now that’s been confirmed!
On Monday, Us Weekly got the deets! Insiders tell them that after six years together, Bethenny and Paul have ended their engagement. Details remain somewhat slim and the 53-year-old, herself, has yet to speak out about it… but a mutual friend of the exes spilled to the outlet:
“It just wasn’t going to work. They are so different — he’s an under the radar kind of guy.”
Ohhh, so it sounds like he wasn’t really for the spotlight — and how much his former fiancée attracts it. That’s too bad!

The pair began dating in 2018 and got engaged three years later in March 2021. Paul gave the reality star a HUGE 10-carat emerald-cut diamond ring (estimated to be worth north of ONE MILLION DOLLARS) which she was happy to flaunt despite online backlash. But while her and Paul’s love might not be forever, the diamond IS. Because she still has it months after their split! The insider dished:
“She still has the ring.”
Ha! Well, it will always be a token of their time together… And a total freakin’ gold mine if she were to ever fall on hard times! Ha!
