Jim Carrey Lends His Support To Late Girlfriend's Family -- While The Church Of Scientology SLAMS Rumors They Had Anything To Do With Her Suspected Suicide!

On Wednesday, it was reported that Jim Carrey rallied around his late on/off again girlfriend Cathriona White‘s family following her suspected suicide. Apparently, the Mask actor met with Miz White’s mother and sister and even put them up in a hotel room while they’re in town from Ireland.

An insider shared:

“They spent several hours at his home in Brentwood.”

We’ve been so impressed with how beautifully the comedian’s handled this unfortunate tragedy — especially with his eloquently penned statement regarding the makeup artist’s death.
However, many still speculate about what drove the brunette beauty to her alleged, tragic decision. As we previously reported, Cathriona was involved with Scientology prior to her passing. In fact, the Irish native participated in their controversial drug and alcohol detox program.
Nonetheless, the church does NOT appreciate being associated with this Hollywood tragedy.
A spokeswoman for the religious group shared that the accusations were simply “sad and reprehensible” attempts at exploiting the young woman’s death. The Scientologist also noted that highlighting their connection with Cathriona is “outright bigotry.” Whoa.
Still, it’s said that law enforcers will question church officials — despite the fact that investigators doubt the religion had anything to do with this untimely incident.
