Aww, platonic manlove is cute!!
Dan Harmon might be out of a lucrative job running one of the most HIGHlarious shows on TV, but at least he isn’t out of friends!
Joel McHale spoke from the Community panel at Comic-Con on Friday morning and he kept coming back to how much he missed the big guy!
Unlike Chevy Chase and the NBC execs who made the call, Joel never wanted Dan to leave.
And why would he? Joel explained:
“Dan created the show, Dan gave me the role of a lifetime.”
Valid points. So does he think the post-Harmon era is destined for disaster?
Not necessarily!
Joel continued:
├óΓé¼┼ôIt├óΓé¼Γäós like having a pool full of chlorine switched to salt water ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ its still water… August 13 is our first day of shooting and the Monday before that is our first table read, so we├óΓé¼Γäóll see then.”
Ah, yes, the old salt water from chlorine water analogy, that makes perfect…. Uh, wait. No it doesn’t.
A pool full of chlorine actually isn’t water, it’s chlorine, Joel. And very deadly at that!
So is Dan the salty or poisonous one?
We’re so confused!
Oh well, we’re looking forward to the new season anyway!
