John Mayer Attempts To Mend His Broken Heart By Clubbing The Night Away. Don't Worry, Katy Perry -- It's Not What You Think!

We have the perfect pick up line for John Mayer to use at a club: “Hi, I’m John Mayer.”
Okay, so maybe John wasn’t exactly going to any sort of twerk-heavy nightclub with a name that only Stefon could come up with. He went to a jazz club!
After his recent breakup with Katy Perry, John was at the Greenwich Village jazz club Blue Note (to probably match his blue emotions) on Wednesday night into the early morning on Thursday.
He was there to see pianist Chick Corea‘s show, before Chick played with him and the rest of the John Mayer Trio on Thursday‘s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
We wonder if other audience members went up to John during the performance, and asked him, “are you doing a solo?” Then he went on Facebook and looked at a picture of him and Katy, and said, “I guess I am doing this solo.”
Apparently, according to sources, John actually seemed happy. In fact, he posted an Instagram video of Chick’s performance that was captioned as a “[h]elluva night.”
