Okay, John Mayer, we see you!
The musician appeared on an Instagram Live with Pete Davidson‘s ex Cazzie David on Monday, and got extremely candid about his sex life.

In fact, he casually admitted that he’s slept with “a soft 500” women! Damn.
Cazzie, who was asking the questions, also grilled the 41-year-old on whether he’s ever masturbated to his own music, to which he replied:
“I don’t think I’ve masturbated to any music, except when I was much younger and MTV was all there was for a young man. In what world do you imagine that a man would masturbate to his own music?”
Truly a weird question. But the next one was a little less awkward, when Cazzie asked if John had ever had sex with his own music playing. He said:
“No, but a girl has asked me to sing some of my songs in probably the run up to it. If it’s after a show and a girl asks, ‘Sing Your Body is a Wonderland,’ do you want to be the kind of guy who goes, ‘No,’ or do you want to be the kind of guy that goes like, ‘We’ve got the afternoon…?’ You want to play along.”
That’s cute. We guess.
Despite being a ladies’ man, the singer admitted he’s not that great of a catch for many famous women:
“I became PR poison for people … I don’t think that people are into the idea of like, ‘I snagged John Mayer.'”
That’s what happens when you talk about your sex life with ex Jessica Simpson to the whole world! And it probably doesn’t help that Taylor Swift wrote a song about him. But we digress.
John also reminisced, with relief, about how Scarlett Johansson never wanted him:
“I walked into an Oscar party like two years ago… I looked over at Scarlett Johansson, and for the first time in my life, I said to myself, ‘She wants nothing to do with you.’ And I found that really kind of relieving.”
Finally, he explained why it’s easy for him to understand what women go through:
“[I have] a little bit of a deeper understanding about what it’s like to be a woman in that yes, I could have sex with somebody at any given moment. I think being a famous man is somewhat similar to being a beautiful woman, which means yes there is access, there’s very seldom any desire. The older I get, the less desirous I am about unsheathing new body parts.”
Interesting! Dare we say he hasn’t banged too many people recently? Then again, this is John Mayer we’re talking about.
