How many women has John Mayer slept with??
It was widely reported last week the Your Body Is A Wonderland singer had slept with “around 500” people. Now he’s saying it was far, FAR fewer!
Was it all a game of Internet telephone?

During an interview with Cazzie David, she told him:
“Blink twice if you’ve slept with over 800 people.”
When he stared unblinking, she lowered it to 500. He intently stared again. Then she stopped pressing the issue and applauded him for having had sex with fewer than 500 people, to which he responded:
“What does it say about my expectations, that if you find out I’ve slept with less than 500, you’re like kind of impressed with me?”
He and Cazzie continued to joke about it as the interview went on, and he said he was in “the sub-500 gang.”
“Less than 500” seems to have been interpreted as “just a hair under 500” because many outlets just said “around 500.”
Now John is setting the record straight, saying on another episode of his Instagram show, saying:
“I made reference to being a sub-500 guy and you guys… the headlines said I slept with over 500 women!”
After laughing this off he said:
“I also just wanna say that I thought about it over the week and I actually went back over my entire dating history and… my number is six. So I just wanted you to know that. That my number is six. And I’m proud of it.”
Um, wait, WHAT?? REALLY?!
After all the talk about sometimes singing to women and having sex to music?
Hey, aren’t there more than six that we can NAME??
You’ve got Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Vanessa Carlton…
That was seven women he’s dated off the top of our heads! This is a total lie!
