John Mayer Surprises Fans With A Free Show!

Okay okay, sometimes John Mayer isn’t such a bad guy.

Mayer performed a free concert for fans from the University of South Carolina on Tuesday night!

John, who has been rehearsing for his upcoming tour in downtown Columbia, decided to treat the fans who had been reportedly “camping out” outside of his rehearsal space nightly.

“USC students: come watch us run the show tonight. Free,” Mayer tweeted hours before the show.

500 fans were treated to a preview of John’s set for his upcoming world tour, and tickled that ego of Mayer’s real good!

“Thank you for helping us out,” he told the crowd. “This is the way you should rehearse a show.”
