John Mayer Variety Show Moving Ahead!

John Mayer is set to shoot a variety show pilot for CBS.

If the pilot does well, it could spawn a series of specials or a full series.

It wouldn’t be anything new for Mayer, who hosted exactly ONE episode of VH1’s John Mayer Has a TV Show.

We’re sure girlfriend Jennifer Aniston will be pleased that her blabbing boyfriend will be encouraged to run at the mouth.

And it’s for just that reason that we’re hoping the show fares better than Rosie O’Donnell’s variety experiment!
