John Mellencamp Splits From Wifey

Sad! They had a good run though.

After twenty years of marriage, sources are confirming that rocker John Mellencamp is splitting from his wife, model Elaine Mellencamp.

According to John’s rep, the couple says they “are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.”

It’s interesting to note that no divorce papers have been filed, so perhaps this may just be a trial separation.

Let’s hope so for their two kids sake!
