Jon Gosselin is NOT happy with his twins’ unflattering portrayal of him!
As we previously reported, Kate Gosselin‘s eldest daughters, Cara and Mady, expressed their disdain for their dad in a recent interview as they depicted the TLC celeb as absent and fame hungry. Not to mention, Mady requested her father stop speaking about them in public as he “doesn’t even know [them].” Ouch!

Obviously, the father-of-eight was relatively blind sided by Kate and her kiddos’ tell all chat with People — but that doesn’t mean he’s just taking the shade. In fact, the aspiring DJ clapped back to Entertainment Tonight:
“I’m very upset. I love my children very much. I’ve always been there for them and I always will be. It’s shocking.”
We get wanting to defend yourself to the press, but didn’t Jon just do EXACTLY what one of his twins asked him not to do? Smh.
Nonetheless, the oldest Gosselin girls found support from one of their parents as Kate expressed how proud she was of the duo. On how her twins are handling their estrangement form their father, Miz Gosselin noted:
“[Cara and Mady] do struggle … it’s not going to be an easy road ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ anyone who grows up with a parent who is often absent is going to have issues to deal with.”
Well said.
Regardless, the 41-year-old is blown away by her teenage daughters’ maturity (especially when it comes to Mady). She continued:
“She doesn’t want to join his game. At that age, to be able to locate the high road and stay on it, that just blows me away.”
Preach! Despite Kate’s recent truth bomb about her son Collin‘s special needs, the blonde beauty isn’t dwelling on the drama. Kate concluded:
“When you’re younger, you may have more energy, but when you’re older, you’re wiser. We’ve been through so much, from the divorce to issues with Collin, and now I see that the other things I thought were important are just not.”
Now that’s what we like to hear. We really do wish Kate and her brood only the best as they try to navigate through life sans Jon.
