Julianne Hough has been embracing a slower way of life while quarantining by herself in Los Angeles.
She has previously spoken about “really enjoying” her alone time away from husband Brooks Laich, despite confusion from many fans about why the married couple would choose to be apart when many crave connection.

The DWTS alum shared with People:
“I’ve actually felt very grounded and peaceful and calm.”
The 31-year-old credited her calm attitude to her “daily practices and routines” which she prioritizes:
“Like any other person on the planet, I start my routine, and some days I’m really adamant about it, and some days I forget to do my morning pages. I will tell you, I feel the difference immediately.”
Not only has Hough had time to dedicate to her routines, but she has been able to reevaluate what matters most:
“This time has really given me space to think about the things that are important in my life, my day-to-day interactions. I thrive off hustle and creation and energy, but this has given me the space to actually take an hour — which I never have done before — to make a meal for lunch, and go outside and breathe in the air. I just feel more grounded and at peace. Time and space is in its own weird place right now, but I feel like I can breathe.”
So, how’s her hubby doing? Apparently fine, and with no sex drive! In a recent episode of his How Men Think podcast, the former NHL player shared:
“I’m in Idaho, my wife is in LA, so not much of that [sex] going on here… I would probably lose my sex drive when stress ramps up, that’s just what I feel in this situation.”
Without his wife to keep him company, he has also shared that he “enjoys isolation” and has been doing lots of yard work around the snowy property to stay occupied:
“It’s all Idaho bush, I’m cutting down trees, clearing brush. After that, I took supper and I make a fire and then I’m wiped out, I really don’t have a sexual charge, I’m so wiped out. During this quarantine time, I’m not in the proximity to my wife. I’m not in the same room with her, and with what I’m doing here, that my sex drive wouldn’t be at its peak.”
What’s your take on their relationship, y’all? Could you be quarantined away from your spouse?? Let us know (below) in the comments!!
